LG NEW V10 SMARTPHONE BEGINS SHIPPING IN WORLDWIDE

LG has announced that the V10 smartphone, which was announced earlier this month, has started rolling out globally. TheUnited States, China and Hong Kong are getting it this week, while key markets in North America, Europe, Asia, Latin America, the Middle East, and the Commonwealth of Independent States will get the device sometime this quarter.

Over in the US, some of the major carriers including T-Mobile, AT&T, and Verizon will be carrying the device. The former two have already announced their launch plans - T-mobile begins selling it today, while AT&T will start offering it on November 6. For those interested in more premium look, you can now also get the V10 gold plated from Vietnam-based company Karalux.

If you aren't already aware, until now, the handset was only available in the company's home country of South Korea, where- as per reports - it isn't doing very well.

BLACKBERRY PRIV SHOWS UP IN SOME COUNTRIES

As you probably know by now, BlackBerry has officially started accepting pre-orders for its Android-powered Priv smartphone. However, only those living in the US, UK, and Canada can currently pre-order the device.

While there's no official word on when and if the Priv will be available in other markets, the device has been quietly listed by a couple of Dutch websites (Student Mobile and GSMwijzer), suggesting that it will soon be available in Europe, too.

The listing on both websites reveals a price tag of €799, which translates into around $880. Reports say that the handset will be available in the country starting week 48, which is towards November-end.

SONY XPERIA Z5 & Z5 PREMIUM LAUNCHED IN INDIA

Sony announced the Xperia Z5 and the Xperia Z5 Premium in India. Both the phones being launched are the dual SIM variants. The Z5 is priced at INR 52,990 ($813) and the Z5 Premium at INR 62,990 ($966).

In case you're not aware, the Xperia Z5 has a 5.2-inch 1080p LCD, Snapdragon 810, 3GB RAM, 32GB storage with microSD, 23 megapixel rear camera with 4K video, 5.1 megapixel front camera, water and dustproof body, and 2900mAh battery. The Z5 Premium has all that but in addition gets a crazy 5.5-inch 4K LCD instead and a bigger 3430mAh battery.

The Z5 will go on sale on October 23 and the Z5 Premium on November 7. The company has no plans to sell the smaller Z5 Compact in India yet.
